Coming Together After Tragedy: The Iron Order's Mission to Support a Family in Need This Christmas

On December 19, a devastating fire struck a local family, leaving them with nothing but their resilience and hope. With four boys aged 17, 15, 12, and 8, this family faced unimaginable loss during what should be a joyful holiday season. When we at the Stampede City Crew of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club learned about their situation, we knew we had to step in and help.

Understanding the gravity of their circumstances, our brothers rallied together to provide the family with some much-needed relief and holiday cheer. After the boys had spent countless hours cleaning up the remains of their home, we wanted to give them a moment to just be kids again. With over 20 Christmas gifts donated by our crew, we hoped to bring smiles back to their faces and a spark of joy to their holiday season.

Our efforts didn’t stop there. Maple, the longest-standing brother of our charter, went above and beyond to address the family’s immediate needs. He personally ensured they were set back up with heat in the RV they are currently living in, providing them with the comfort and warmth they need as they navigate these challenging times. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of community and brotherhood.

While our contributions have made a difference, we recognize that there is still so much more that can be done to help this family rebuild their lives. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to provide ongoing support, and we encourage anyone who feels moved by their story to contribute. You can find all the details here: Support a Family in Our Community.

At the Iron Order, we believe in standing together and lifting up those who need it most. This holiday season, we’re proud to have played a small part in helping this family find hope amidst tragedy. But our work isn’t done. Let’s keep the momentum going, offering support and generosity to ensure this family can create new memories and begin their journey toward recovery.

Thank you to our brothers and to everyone in the community who has already shown their support. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
